Excellent example of keeping the topic dysfunctional. It has always been my own assumption that the very oil companies that monopolize both the economy and the uses of the military to protect itself will control alternative energy as well. They will never give up their stranglehold on the economy or the energy sources. All they see in any of this is growth and more profit. Meanwhile, the poverty rate increases, food production and quality decreases, and the problems of the economy are blamed on the poor. The energy industry indulges in many trillons of dollars. The national debt has nothing to do with GNP. Windpower has nothing to do with global warming. Cape Vincent doesn't contribute anything to global warming, but Albany does. The same political factory that says they can tell towns what to do. Keep wind out, keep the scoundrels out.
