Ontario wind power bringing down property values -

By John Nicol and Dave Seglins, CBC News

Ontario's rapid expansion in wind power projects has provoked a backlash from rural residents living near industrial wind turbines who say their property values are plummeting and they are unable to sell their homes, a CBC News investigation has found.

The government and the wind energy industry have long maintained turbines have no adverse effects on property values, health or the environment.

The CBC has documented scores of families who've discovered their property values are not only going downward, but also some who are unable to sell and have even abandoned their homes because of concerns nearby turbines are affecting their health.

This piece is BIG, BIG, BIG! The article makes point after point. The CBC News staff spent time on this story and they delivered the knock-out punch at the very end: "... the bank wrote, "we find your property (next to wind turbines) a high risk and its future marketability may be jeopardized."

This should be required reading for every property owner in Cape Vincent. How about someone, WPEG?, mailing a copy to every land owner?

The new buyers were required to sign agreements acknowledging that the wind turbine facilities may affect the buyer's "living environment". So a home buyer is asked to sign his/her name prior to getting buggerd???

Gee 3:00 that is a KIN to voting for Mason & Mason
just vote prior to getting buggerd.

I admire the 81 yr old lady from attempting to keep the home, but rather than sink more money into it, either sell at a loss or file a bankruptcy and get rid of it. At 81, why waste more money on it? Life is too short for this.

I wrote before that leases remain with the previous owner according to the easement laws. When will people realize that this is only oart of the overall economic war that has been being waged on America since 1918? Do you really think we fought wars to make anyone but banks more powerful? Everyone was asleep when mortgages were a bubble. I paid mine off. I kept my well, and I refuse to lease my land to this scandalous project. This is more than just a small town election. Masons Inc. are only a symptom of a viral economic infection. Hey, that rhymes. I do that sometimes. You have to be twenty years ahead of these people, not twenty years behind. When Cheney sat in an energy meeting that was when all of this was planned. The National Grid is a government controlled monopoly and the "privatization" is just a sham. Social Security is now being controlled by one of the top war profiteering companies as well. Wait til 2012. You ain't seen nothing yet. The ironic thing is that farms are what we need most and the ones who have them are selling out to the very fascists who would just as well see us all starve to death. Short term thinkers always make the same mistakes.

I'd rather have the town take my land by eminent domain that to sign any lease agreements. That way ACCONIA has to get it passed as a State Project. That means more payolla and corrupted officials have to put their names where their mouths are. One person can make a difference. Other than some questionable changes in local politics, I don't see anyone doing much of anything to stand up to these scumbags. The list of names on my shit list regarding ACCIONA and BP go beyond the ones you see here. As an individual I have always fought my own battles because so many people sit around waiting for someone else to do it for them. Mindless minions who are too lazy to get the information they need to make the right decisions. There was a line in a movie , "You're so beyond screwed you need to catch a bus just to get back to screwed". I think that fits here quite well.

1994, the federal government gave all government employees the official correspondence that was titled "The New World Order is Here". What amazed me more that noone seemed to even notice or even consider just what that meant.

Actually, a lot of people are aware of the New World Order. It just isn;t talked about in main stream media. What's interesting is the the Wat. Daily Times was once a politically outspoken paper. Actual journalism. They reported on the topic of giving all government workers federal powers. The government wanted even the gas meter people and the postman to look around for suspicious behavior in your home and report it. They were even told to look in windows if they had the opportunity. Also, park rangers were given guns and the same powers as State Police. The country has bee in control of fascists longer that you may think.
Also, the Israeli Defense Forces have "consultants" in "Homeland Security". A phrase even similar to Hitler's "Fatherland". Believe it or not. This is nothing new, just not in the news.

Fascism in America is nothing new, just no in the news. The WTD used to be more politically outspoken, now it's run by the fascists.
