Flawed energy policy

This letter to the editor was posted in the Tri city Herald

Earlier this month Fox news reported that the Bonneville Power Administration was proposing to pay wind producers to cut back production, necessitated to manage high water flows at federal hydroelectric dams this spring to protect fish.
They would be paying wind producers up to fifty million dollars a year not to produce wind energy.
Money that will eventually be paid by ratepayers .

This opinion letter addresses the Bonneville Power administrations decision to pay wind power producers not to produce.

This economic nonsense makes me wonder if some of Goldman Sachs leadership, those that led our countyr's economic bus into the ditch, are contorting energy policy so that their investors end up smelling like roses while the rest of us pay them off smelling like a pigsty.
