The Watertown Times answers my question about BP lawyer

Earlier this week  I did a post titled  ~   Does access to Movers and Shakers in Albany give BP attorney Harris a relative advantage? The post was about the BP lawyers having the upper hand when it comes to being associated with people from the Public Service commission. A fact pointed out at BP's Wind workshop by Councilman Clif Schneider.

In this post I explained that I became curious and Googled ~  Harris Public Service Commission.
I clicked on the top link that appeared and to my surprise the following appeared
Maureen Finnegan Harris, Commissioner of the Public Service Commission

I posed the question ~
Is this Harris somehow related to BP attorney John Harris?
Today there is a story in the Watertown Times that answers that question. Yes, Maureen Harris is indeed married to BP lawyer John Harris.

Very good reporting and instigation of public awareness.

The Cape Vincent blogs have told the truth, informed the the public when other media has failed.

That is why I have donated to the:

Bp can be very vicious and they have recruited the local green shirts and others who will sell out their neighbors for a buck and help them play their ruthless game.

SLAPP: A strategic lawsuit against public participation. A lawsuit that is intended to censor, intimidate, and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense until they abandon their criticism or opposition.

Some have been bragging about how much money they are going to make it cost the bloggers.

It is possible that Bp and Marion Trieste are supporting the SLAPP proceedings against the blogs and John Does who dare speak against them. This kind of use of the legal system is so dangerous to free speech that even lawyers are lobbying the federal government to set laws preventing SLAPP.

Read the special commentary by John Richardson at this link.

The book, "Poisoned Legacy" tells the story about what Bp is capable of doing to people in communities who resist their advances.

Freedom of speech is priceless. Shame on those who would spend blood money to try to take it away.

Thank you, Pandora's Box of Rocks.

This relationship with Harris leaves me more cynical than ever.
I suppose we are expected to believe that BP has no advantage with the PSC. Crooked bunch of bastards.

According to the WDT article Commissioner Harris paid a $50k fine to end an investigation into benefits she was awarded by the state. Is this another way of saying Commissioner Harris had questionable ethics when she worked for the Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Board of Cooperative Educational Services?

If you read the book "Poisoned Legacy" it isn’t hard to believe that BP has questionable ethics, in fact the US Government just fined BP a record amount of money in part due to their questionable ethics.

Where is Governor Cuomo, better known as Mr. Ethics? You know the guy who appointed Ex-Senator Aubertine to a sweet state job during the middle of an ethics investigation looking into corruption in the Town of Cape Vincent, and who apparently sees no problem with BP manipulating his administration or the citizens of Cape Vincent.

Article 10 hasn’t even sited its first energy project and the process appears to be tainted.

It appears the above issues may be a good indicator of the type of Government Cuomo is running.

Cuomo, what a great guy he is. What does he think of wind turbines? Has he giving any money to the bloggers welfare cause to fight BP? With all the money you received for your welfare cause, you should have a chunk of change for your lawyers fees. Oh! stop crying about the
marriage of the lawyer. Oh! great use of nasty words in your comments.

Reading about Chandler's determination that Commissioner Harris is not conflicted made me wonder if Chandler was invited to Harris' home for dinner. He sounded like he knew her. If John Harris invited Chandler to dinner to me the missus, can you imagine the bottle of wine BP would have provided to warm the heart of Maureen?

12:54 You refer to Gov. Cuomo who in your words " apparrently sees no problem with BP manipulating his administration. "

I think you are far to generous towards Andrew Cuomo. Nobody manipulates him. He is the consummate political manipulator, using BP to accomplish his energy policy goals, which he believes will buy him a presidential bid.

This cozy relationship between the PSC and BP manifested by Mr. and Mrs Harris is just one example of the sort of political muck used by Cuomo.

He knows exactly what he wants and will use any means to achieve it.

Could you tell us what you know about Bp and the blogger's welfare cause ?

JLL has asked a rhetorical question- "how many Cape Vincent citizens just fell off the turnip truck,or came down with yesterday's rain?" He is not accepting comments,so I will attempt to answer on Pandy's blog.

I hope no citizens of Cape vincent fall for the excuses that both BP and the PSC are offering to dismiss the significance of this relationship between BP and the PSC.

It represents a glaring example of the collaboration of corporate interests and government.

It should serve to heigthen the awareness of New Yorkers, as to just how rigged the sytem is that Andrew Cuomo has created to promote industrial wind generation in our communities.

The Art. X legislation, is an abominal abuse of power, and a gross insult to every local government ,and citizen in New York.

We cannot and will not prevail in this game Cuomo has created,-he has all the cards.

Our only chance is to refuse to play and challenge this abrogation of our rights.

My hope is our own local elected officials will see the writing on the wall and decide to take our laws into our own hands.

What do we have to lose, that we won't lose by engaging in this rigged political fraud, that is ART. X?

At least we could retain our dignity and stop pleading with the PSC for their generosity, compassion and consideration of our plight.

You have the perfect vehicle to lodge your complaints.
With all your claims of good ideas and the right way to do things you are missing the boat by not hammering away right on the PSC web site comment section for all of New York and the PSC legal staff to see. The PSC comment section is being observed. My guess is, that even you are visiting it and reading it. Insulting the town board and officials and chastising your former friends and people who used to trust you guys and chastising the writer of the blogs calling here Pandy will get you guys no where. You seem to have no solution but to mock others efforts and try to bully like wind does. There is more than one battle in a war but good battle does not happen when you burn bridges behind trying to weaken your allies and your general is a rat who can't be trusted. Your rat fink general would never survive in a fox hole with real soldiers. Think hard about how a war is really won especially when you are not privy to the ground intelligence and your general sells out on his soldiers and mocks them. and targets them in his effort to make it appear he is the only soldier. Doin more harm than good.
