It's a shame -- a terrible awful shame.

There is one thig that has always struck me as very curious about the visual issue of industrial wind turbines.

Those who have wind money in their pockets claim turbines are "beautiful" and it's all a subjective aesthetic judgment, so as a result we must just accept them.

Really??? Then why do even the wind companies talk about mitigation of the veiw of their turbines? And why does every regulatory agency, even Art X address the "impact" to important visual resources? And if these turbines are so beautiful and desirable, why aren't the condo developers and resort developers rushing in here advertising properties right next to the beautiful turbines, like they might advertise a beautiful mountain of lake view?

Why... because the "turbines are beautiful" is a BS scam and everybody knows it including the wind developers. To bad their pawns like voters for wind haven't caught up and that even BP gets it that industrial turbines will have a huge impact of the regional beauty!
