Excellent comment and well prepared.

By contrast, the following is a comment sent to the PSC by a bee pee leaseholder.

"I attended the recent open house held by BP in Cape Vincent. The company had many representatives there. They were very willing to answer questions and interact with the public. People could learn from them."

That Tibbetts Pt. pick is exactly the way it looks from the Dablon Pt. road. Were were there the other day when it was real clear....what a shame.

I wounder why the Town of Clayton does not seem to act in the protection of the Health and Welfare of the people who live in or near the proposed Horse Creek Wind Farm.

Clayton is now one of the coolest towns in the US.

Do you think it will still be rated that way if they continue to let Iberdrola set the rules?

Not just Horse Creek.

What about the residents of Clayton who will have a fine view of BP's turbines in Cape Vincent?

Clayton town government: where are you?

7:25 Clayton town government ,where are you?"

A towncouncilman from Clayton once said in private-" our function is basically just to make sure the supervisor doesn't sell the farm"

Another quoted as saying-"trust me folks, Justin Taylor knows what he's doing" immediately following the boards decision to ignore recommendations of a wind law committee.

At a mock scientific exercise to determine tolerable sound levels on Grindstone Island, J Taylor announced the issue would be solved by the five men elected and charged with guarding the future of Clayton.

So ,you ask ,Clayton town government, where are you? Just ask the omnipotent Justin Taylor, the supervisor .

7:28 "People could learn from them"

People "learned " from Charles Manson.

Its not really considered "learning" when someone closes their mind to objectivity, and simply absorbs information from someone with a specific goal in mind.

Its called brainwashing, mind control, indoctrination, spellbinding, -you get the idea!

All we need to learn from BP, we learned the day they notified us they were letting their application for a Town of Cape Vincent building permit expire, and were applying through ART. X.

Lesson over, close your books!!!

It's time to ask the Clayton council to publicly comment on:

Since the 1000 Islands-Seaway Valley has been long identified by New York State, along with the Adirondacks, the Catskills, and the Finger Lakes, as among the scenic destinations that New York has to offer to the world.

It seems incredible that we permit
the targeting of such areas for industrial scale wind.

Why would Article 10 allow industrial scale wind in the viewshed of any of these natural wonders of New York State?

So Mr. Taylor, what do you intend to do on this issue, if Iberdrola proceeds with and Article 10 application for an Industrial Wind Facility within the viewshed of Thousand Islands?

If you allow it, how cool does that still make Clayton?
