Aubertine stresses State Fair continues reforms he helped start

Mr. Aubertine arrived in the midst of a series of highly critical reports issued by the state inspector general’s office that found serious deficiencies in the way the fair was managed, revealing problems with contracts as well as theft and misuse of state property.

As a state senator in 2009, Darrel J. Aubertine sponsored legislation to increase accountability for the New York State Fair, which has been plagued with scandals over how vendors were selected by fair officials.

This article is nothing more than damage control.

It forgets go mention that an Aaubertine State Fair guy that was corrupt was given another State job. IN HOMELAND SECURITY! WTF?

Aubertine has sold out on his own home town. He encouraged lease holding town board members to vote their conflicts of interest. He lost and they lost. Most politically astute blame that loss directly on his ethics and constant attempts to cover his tracks. Now he is running his son for local government claiming that he wants to take back Cape Vincent (And give it to Bp?).

In a recent Cuomo press release about greek yogurt Aubetrtine was related to one who was only allowed to comment. "Yougert's Silicone Valley and I am a dairy farmer was his contribution."

It is time for Cuomo to give him the boot. In my opinion, Aubertine fools no one expect those who are residents of what Marion Trieste's has referred to as a Little Appalachia.

Do you really think the readers of the times buys into this shameful press release?

Old farm adage-you can't clean a milkhouse floor with a dirty mop.

4:30 You've got the spirit of the old adage right, but not the words. The original version is-"you can't clean a milkhouse floor with the same broom you use to sweep the gutters"
