CAPE VINCENT — BP Wind Energy’s preliminary scoping statement for the proposed Cape Vincent Wind Project “willfully disregards every concern that our town government has expressed,” town officials told the state Public Service Commission in a recent letter.
Furthermore, local officials said, the wind developer has “ignored recommendations from your commission to ‘address the relevant requirements in the new regulations’ and promised — but did not follow through on — several action items that would have better educated the public about its project.” [Watertown Times]
