Please, please do not let the greed of a huge corporation

The letter below was recently submitted to the public Service Commission in regard to British Petroleum's Application of Cape Vincent Wind Power, LLC, for a

Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need to Construct an Approximately 200-285 Megawatt Wind Electric Generating Facility in the Town of Cape Vincent, New York.

~~~~~~~~
Please, please do not let the greed of a huge corporation and a few landowners spoil this whole area of Cape Vincent and the surrounding communities of Lyme and Clayton.  This is a wonderful scenic and unspoiled place in which we have chosen to live in, and we feel that the installation of these mammoth industrial wind towers will destroy everything that makes the area so special.  The Commission should and must take into consideration the wishes of the majority of residents of the area, who have shown their disapproval of such an installation, both verbally at town meetings and through several surveys.
