The mandates contained in the Renewable Fuel Standard could require manufacturers to increase the amount of ethanol used in fuel by 50%. What’s worse is that car manufacturers have indicated that some vehicles just can’t take it. This requirement may damage millions of vehicles on the road today and could even void engine warranties.
