Anything Stumpf does is no surprise. She is very down on the Cape. But for the farm bureau a once respected community organization to approve of a project that does no much damage to neighbors comes as a surprise and a loss of respect.

Stumpf spoke at a public meeting making the claim that turbines on Wolfe Island had no impact on property values. Documented information now proves that one small cluster of homes in the turbine zone on Wolfe lost a total of 3 million. One single home lost $180,000.
She also made the claim that Appraiser Michael McCann bragged on his website that he was a shill for anti wind and and his certified appraisal that verifies a 50% property value loss was, "lies, lies, lies".

Beware and prepare for any disinformation that is being brought to the public by Voters for Wind who I believe are nothing more that shills for Trieste Associates who are financed by Bee Pee. Even Marion Trieste said she uses lawsuits. Beware and prepare for class action against Voters for Wind, Bee Pee, Iberdrola, their experts and any town officials who might bring disinformation that damages our Thousand Islands home and life.

Again, this becomes a problem of ethics. Karen Stumpf is a Voter for Wind spokesperson, her son worked for a wind developer, and her husband has contracts with Bp.
I have lost respect for the Farm Bureau for not recognizing the ethical problems and allowing Karen Stumpf to be attached to their request. That was not very wise of them since Art. X was intended to level the playing field and eliminate all appearance of self servitude and corruption in the process.
Roger Eastman made a dumb mistake by attaching Sumpf's name. It destroyed all credibility of their expert. BP has admitted that Marion Trieste and Voters for Wind are local agents of theirs in the Cape Lyme siting.

The Jefferson Farm Bureau has only 440 members and they think it is right to demand the well being of their members at the expense of hundreds if not thousands of Jefferson County citizens who will lose the value in our homes?
