Both Skelos and Silver have shot down the choices of Darrel Aubertine who was trying to get some farmers from wherever to be on the committee. Do not let Aubertine and his kid take back the Cape and give it to Bp so his family can benefit from getting a lot of wind turbines.

Local elections matter.

This is one more obvious example of that fact.

Register to vote in the one place you love the most, where you have the most to lose and where your one vote will count the most

Yes local elections matter.

Please don't let Darrel Aubertine, The Cape Dems and the Citizens For Fair Government take back Cape Vincent and give it to British Petroleum.

2:55 what the hell are you talking about? Neither Skelos or Silver ever recveived any submissions for ad hoc members from Darrel Aubertine. He has no part to play in the ART.X process.

They could only consider the choices submitted from the town supervisors and the county chairwomen.

politics is one thing ,but good God, could you at least be somewhat accurate, in your random gossip. You come off sounding a lot like Bubba from Marion Trieste's "little apalachia", when you make comments like this.

The farm bureau was pressured and the voters for wind were lobbying to have a couple of farmers from southeast Jefferson County be put on the siting board instead of locals. Most people around these parts figure that Darrell who likes to call himself a dairy farmer and is the Ag Commissioner may have given the farm bureau people a call. Its politics and it appears that Darrell does want to take back the Cape and give it to BP. I bet if you asked Darrell he would even say that he would prefer the farmer choices over those of Skelos and Silver. So it sounds like 2:56 is probably correct.
Darrell is no friend of those who want to protect the Thousand Islands from his wind development.

That same request for farmers being on that committee was made directly to the JefCo. legs. A complaint was filed against Carolyn Fitzpatrick for not ignoring the rules and giving them a farm bureau choices who you know damn well would have most likely have been Darrel's choice to. Our local farmers are an embarrassment.
