BP has dropped plans to sell its U.S. wind business, nearly four months after the British energy giant announced it wanted to focus on oil and gas operation.
“Despite receiving a number of bids, the company has determined that now is not the right time to sell the business,” said BP spokesman Matt Hartwig in a written statement. “Our focus will remain on safely maximizing the financial and operational performance of the existing assets.”
