We understand that the Watertown Daily Times recently reported that an individual named Corey White was arrested.  An anonymous commenter posted on this blog suggesting that the individual named in the Watertown Daily Times article was a relative of Harvey White.  The comments were removed.  We understand that the individual arrested was not related to Mr. White.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

This is a very lawyerly response to Mr. Cory White's lawyerly complaint in the Watertown Daily Times. I welcome the day when Trieste Associates and BP's money and influence leave Cape Vincent, so we can never hear again from the likes of Cory White and industrial wind leaseholders on the editorial pages of the Times arguing they want their money, dammit!

I am a very big follower of the Cape blogs. Especially the importance of the years of information they have brought to the community regarding industrial wind siting. It does appear that they operate under good legal counsel. After all, they and their readers were the victims of a SLAPP action that for nearly a year attempted to scare them, financially intimidate them and shut them down and they are still providing their service.
