Absentee Ballots Could Change Cape Vincent Supervisor Result

In Cape Vincent, there has been an apparent upset in the race for town supervisor.

Republican Urban Hirschey, who was looking for another term in office, has apparently been defeated.

Democratic challenger Alan Wood has received 501 votes.

Hirschey received 426 votes.
However, there's still the matter of absentee ballots, which could swing the vote in Hirschey's favor.

This election shows clearly that if you do enough mud-slinging, even if not true, most anyone can be elected.
