If BP is out of the game and they are trying to dump this project on some new, dumb-ass industrial wind developer then the Town is smart to have letters sitting at the top of the Article 10 heap that tell any potential investor the facts of life trying to get a wind project approved in Cape Vincent. The Town intends to fight for their plan and law, the Town will not approve a PILOT and the Town is urging the PSC to make any new buyer to re-start their Article 10 application. BP has been playing around with Article 10 for over a year and has not responded to a single request from anybody. If you had to grade their work so far, they would get a F! Any investor seeking to learn more about the Cape project will have these two letters jump out at them providing a warning. These letters are the right response to BP putting the PSC on notice that they are leaving by the end of the year. Good bye BP and good bye to any new investors.

I am very grateful to the Town Council for working so hard to protect our homes and our life on this beautiful place.

They have done an excellent job with all aspects of Town Government over the past two years once they obtained majority rule. It has been an absolute delight to watch them work to protect the Health, Safety an Welfare of this community.

BP has made such a mess with their entire approach to this project, why not let a new buyer continue with the history of BP attached? It would be in the best interest of the town!

Why allow a new developer to start afresh ,with a clean slate? Makes no sense!

What new buyer? Hardly likely.
