"The Cape needs to heal"

the outlook for the Cape will be much greater now that there seems little chance that Al Wood(AKA civic Charlie) could assume office.

The town has dodged a major bullet that could have sent it spiralling to oblivion.

First this smiling dumb-ass hires an Albany hot shot lawyer who later tells him their complaint about absentee ballots is a lost cause. Then this smiling dumb-ass hires another law firm to file a complaint with the court. All of this opens a terrible, deep wound in the community. Then this same smiling dumb-ass is quoted saying he is withdrawing his complaint and wants to heal the community. The only way we can heal this community is to rid ourselves of all these dumb-asses who refuse to accept the law and common sense. Who needs a bunch of dumb-asses who open wounds and then cry, "Band-aids, doesn't anyone have any Band-aids."

Look at it this way. If all those guys did win they could raise some money for the town by charging for the meetings. Civic Charlie could tell dirty jokes and oogle the pro wind women in the front row and Dennis could laugh at his jokes while Paul does what ever daddy tells him.

If Al wants to do whats best for Cape vincent, he should have just stuck to chortling with Jay donovan on the Morning radio show, and spared Cape vincent residents the grim possibility of him taking office.

The five hundred or so residents who voted for him should take a hard look at their own personal politics, and consider the reality of the crime they almost perpetrated on the town.
