Aubertine Says He Could Win - If He Decides To Run

He's not going anywhere.

He's working on securing his New York State pension, and going off to Washington would not help him do that. His pension will be calculated on his cumulative years of state, county and municipal service. A term or two in Congress would not add to that.

Of course, being a member of the US House of Representatives can be an ego trip. And there isn't very much to do in Congress for a freshman member in the minority party - pretty much a potted plant. He may regard that as a plus.

And it really makes a nice addition to your obituary someday. You could even end up getting an elementary school or a park or something named after you.

I'm sure Darrell likes the attention and the speculation. But when he does the math my bet is that he will decide to stay right where he is.

ATTENTION INTIMIDATED CAPE VINCENT VOTERS.

If you are members of the rapidly growing class who have concerns about voter intimidation by the pro industrial wind Cape Vincent Democrats and the CFG and Voters for Wind:

Google and read -- "Gary King Affidavit"

Also, the Verified Petition signed by Dennis W. Pearson, Paul Aubertine and Alan Wood is file #2013-00002473, Jefferson County, NY, Cheryl D. Lane, Clerk.

It alleges voter fraud against the BOH and those who applied for absentee ballots.

Be prepared for action and protect your voter rights in Cape Vincent, NY.

Sitting down for the pledge??….trying to intimidate and take away the legal rights of voters who disagree with his industrial wind??

What the hell is wrong with people in CV. Is it the water?

The notion that a candidate can win anything by attacking blogs and blog commenters is a sign of ignorance that should not be tolerated by the American voters. Freedom of speech or in the case of Pandora, freedom to tell the truth and publish opinion about objections to Thousand Island industrial wind is as old as the constitution, itself. No American voter should placate any candidate such as D. Aubertine who thinks he can suppress opinion by harassing, intimidating and taking SLAPP actions against those who disagree. There is no place for that kind of ignorance and misunderstanding of constitutional rights in either local government by his son Paul Aubertine or in Congress by Darrel Aubertine. And, there should be no tolerance, as recently stated by the New York State Attorney General for any voter intimidation in New York State (Or any other).

Case in point is the record that both Aubertines established in the Ted Booker free Watertown Daily Times political promotional piece.

Case in point is the Supreme Court Action taken by Aubertine, Wood and Pearson likely to have been taken with the blessings and resources of Darrel Aubertine.
What has gone on in your town with wind should become an issue for the entire 21. It is indicative of what Darrell Aubertine might thing Congress and America is all about.

Yup…right next door to the big red "Had enough, yet" symbol of pro wind community hatred.

I welcome an Aubertine run. It would give the voters an opportunity to learn more about Darrell's failures and documented lapses in ethics throughout his career. The Republicans will have a hay day with the hay seed from Little Applachia who tried to hire his sister right after voting on legislation that forbids such family patronage. And, the Cape Vincent voting civil rights problems? Bring on Aubertine! failure to disclose money from wind leases. Lying about wind leases. Sitting down for the pledge is a good one, though. A classic.
