The theft of Upstate New York is now largely complete. Residents of Upstate know it and are mad as hell about it if the number of e-mail rants I’ve received from readers is any indication. They came all day long yesterday as, one after one, outraged upstate residents forwarded the official e-mail they received from state government; an e-mail with a link to a Mark Ruffalo video effectively announcing his rich friends in the NRDC gang had absconded with their land and their livelihoods, all done in the name of protecting them. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen readers so angry about anything and they have a right to be angry.
UPDATE: A very alert NaturalGasNOW reader recognized the wind farm depicted at 0:23 in the Ruffalo video and it’s not in New York State at all. Rather, it’s the Wolfe Island Wind Farm in Ontario, Canada, as a quick check of Google Earth reveals. There’s also been a lot of controversy surrounding them regarding the impact on property values. It seems our bad actor, fresh from scamming Flint, Michigan residents is scamming New Yorkers, too.
