Governor Cuomo ~ What is good enough for downstate is good enough for us.

There is a petition being circulated concerning Governor Cuomo’s unfair Renewable energy policy. The petition describes how Governor Cuomo applies a double standard when it comes to Upstate versus Downstate.

To minimize adverse visual impacts from offshore wind development, Cuomo promised wealthy long Island beachfront residents that wind turbines would be so far offshore that, “Not even Superman standing on Montauk Point could see these wind farms .”

But for Jefferson County and other upstate communities Cuomo made no such promise to protect our beautiful Lake Ontario coastline .This is unjust, unethical and just plain wrong.

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s renewable energy policy has to be fair and equal for all - including working upstate middle class residents.
