move ahead with a new project manager, Richard Chandler.
Richard Chandler |
Gross said that BP is not sure which “landowners are getting the shaft” ” but that the company is devoting “a lot of time and attention to create the best layout.”
Gross also said the Cape Vincent Wind Farm and
the St. Lawrence Wind projects were
merged in such a way as to preserve all permitting options, hinting that BP would submit an application to the state for
approval through an Article 10 process if the town of Cape Vincent adopts a
stricter set of zoning laws on wind development,
August 1, 2012 The Cape Vincent
Town Board adopted the newly updated protective zoning law.
Subsequently, BP submitted their project to
the Public Service Commission for
approval through an article 10 process.
Recently it was announced by BP that they are divesting their wind assets including Richard Chandler. It looks like BP is giving Chandler the proverbial shaft as well.

In my opinion I think the Times got the shaft back in January when the town of Clayton stood silent while the Times wrote a piece that said Iberdrola was on the fence with the Clayton - Iberdrola project.
The Iberdrola election had already been filed and recorded in December. And Justin Taylor and his pb chair were copied and never corrected the erroneous information. That leads one to ask if Clayton and Iberdrola are in bed with each other and if they are enticing their young reporters to join in.
How do the Italian industrial wind mafia stay out of jail?
They bribe a Tuscan Jailer!
Funny...but in Italy industrial wind is subsidized the same way and they follow the same business model. But instead of dealing with resistant citizens they deal with the mafia who then deals with the resistant citizens. "See what we have here Tony are a bunch of dumb poveros and we have to learn em our way"
