ALBANY (AP) -- The New York Power Authority is launching a $30 million solar energy initiative.
The five-year program will fund solar energy research, training and demonstration projects. The goal is to bring down the cost of solar power generation so it will gain wider use.
The program is part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's "NY-Sun Initiative," announced during his 2012 State of the State Address. more from the Ithica Journal
