My Supplemental letter to the Public Service Commission

Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need to
Construct an approximately 200-285MW Wind Electric
Generating Facility in the Town of Cape Vincent, NY
Honorable Secretary Brilling:
September 28, 2012, I submitted a comment letter for the above file. I have a
supplemental comment to add to the file for the Cape Vincent Wind Power Application.
I was reviewing the BP Public Involvement Program and I noted that the list of
stakeholders did not include the Fort Drum Military instillation.
As the crow flies this military base is approximately 30 miles from BP†proposed Cape
Vincent wind project. Fort Drum is being considered for a possible missile
interceptor site, additionally Fort Drum may also become home to a predator
drone program. Issues with wind turbines and radar are a well-documented
phenomenon. Large wind turbine blades reflect radar signals creating unwanted
echoes in radar systems (clutter).This clutter poses the challenge of
distinguishing wind farm signatures from airplanes. Additionally Cape Vincent
shares a border with Canada; radar interference caused by wind turbines has the
potential to critically influence our border security.

Totally agree Kathy, amazing how many stakeholder would be affected if this project is built. Hard to believe the project is under consideration at all.
I believe the trial of the bloggers will expose much more of the bad behavior by CV pro wind. It will prove that certain PB and TB members lied to the public. Scores of people who have felt intimidated by the VFW and CFFG and many have already sought legal council. I believe that they are prepared to file counter claims that will publicly expose more of what has already been perceived as very bad conduct by pro wind individuals who many believe have interfered with local governmental fair process. Our Thanks to the bloggers and their hundreds of readers.
Hopefully those who have made the false accusations, attempts at curtailing free speech and voting rights, while trying to instill fear in the community have taken into consideration how much this is going to cost them, their families, and their political heritage when the court rulings favor democracy and constitutional rights.
We believe that the actions of the pro wind plaintiffs was a way to instill fear against the hundreds, if not thousands, of Lyme and Cape citizens who dared to speak against what Bp now describes as a positive community engagement program. It will be interesting to hear what is said in court by our former public officials and pro wind during depositions.
That is why scores of us locally, in the state and in the nation are generously supporting the bloggers and their defense fund as the defense has now expanded and we now must defend citizens rights to local home rule. Thank you to those citizens who know the truth and came forth to manage the fund.
Defend our community against those who support Bp. Defend our community against any who attempt to take away our freedom of speech, voting rights and home rule.

Could you explain what you mean by "expanded"? is this fund going to somehow support the towns defense of its home rule rights??
No..I am just a contributor...I have sent a little and want to make sure those who have served us up have defense. If I had a million I would give it...

Talk to your lawyers. You are not going to get any information on this blog about the size of the legal fund.
We the citizens will see you and court when we bring hundreds of people to testify for the bloggers and against plantiffs.
