Decline in wind development cited as reason for reductions
A slowdown in orders for new wind turbines has led to the layoff Monday of 40 employees at the Acciona Windpower plant in West Branch.
The company, in a statement confirming the reduction in force, said the decision to eliminate the jobs was “very difficult.”[The Gazette]

No loss...
With subsidies, recent numbers show that wind jobs are costing the American public over four million dollars each. Money better applied to small businesses that have the possibility of actually making a profit.
For JeffCo PILOT that wind wanted it would cost JeffCo taxpayers over one million for each permanent wind job created. BIG TIME SCAM
