March 18, 2013- British Petroleum Corporation (BP) sued on Friday to block what it believes could be billions and billions of dollars in settlement payouts to businesses in Louisiana and Alabama over the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
According to a spokesman for the giant oil company, many of the claims against it are “fictitious” and frivolous.

Can you imagine that, some U.S. companies are "juicing up" their damage claims against BP and BP thinks that is a bad thing.
BP, who short-changed the system and took short-cuts that cost lives and untold damage to the environment and people's livelihoods, suddenly wants everyone else to play the game according to the rules. Boo hoo!
This company's arrogance and corporate balls are way bigger than anything else on the planet.
