State Supreme Court Judge James P. McClusky is expected to decide next month whether a defamation suit against two Cape Vincent bloggers should proceed or be dismissed.
Richard C. Wiley Sr., author of a blog at jeffersonleaningleft.blogspot.com, and Kathryn A. Hludzenski, author of pandorasboxofrocks.blogspot.com, were sued in July by several longtime Cape Vincent residents who are proponents of a wind farm development in the town.[Watertown Times]

Bp community organizer as part of her community engagement has said that lawsuits are among the other ways a community can be engaged on behalf of the wind developer. Voters for Wind also sued the Town of Lyme. I wonder how they got the tens of thousands of dollars spent on lawsuits when at the same time they complain that the Town of Cape Vincent is spending money defending its home rule and land use laws.

The bloggers have had to endure a lot of threatening public attention from pro wind.
