Yesterday (March 20,2013) a consortium of energy companies, environmental organizations, and philanthropic foundations announced that they have collaborated to form an organization — the Center for Sustainable Shale Development (CSSD) — that will provide an independent, third-party certification process for shale developers. The CSSD is expected to focus on certifying operations in the Marcellus and Utica shale regions, chiefly in eastern states such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

BEWARE of anything with the words "sustainable" or "sustainability" as its a tip-off that its Agenda 21 related. Agenda 21 is anti-capitalistic and moving civilization back into the dark ages. There is now beginning to be an aggressive movement to dump Agenda 21 and ICLEI. Interested people can find information about Agenda 21 on the internet. Oklahoma just took action against Agenda 21 last week. Please, please check all this out by Googleing the internet and coming to your own conclusions. DON'T LET YOUR COUNTY FALL INTO THE REGIONAL SUSTAINABILITY PLANS NOW BEING FORMULATED BY NYSERDA FOR THE WHOLE STATE. BEWARE!!!!
