Iberdrola has backed off on its other developments. There is nothing special about their Clayton project except that Justin Taylor has rolled over for Jenny and Iberdrola. So they have no reason to bail out completely. It is rare now for any community public officials to roll our the red carpet for wind. Very rare, indeed.

Iberdrola and their Horse Shit Wind Farm in Clayton may die from the Big Squeeze.

Financial troubles at the top combined with bureaucratic hurdles pushing up from the bottom by DEC and DPS, may squeeze the will out of the Spanish company to move ahead with their Horse Shit Wind Project.

What a shame for those nameless officials who may have looked forward to Iberdrola's checks for being a good neighbor, but what a blessing for those residents living nearby to the proposed project. Maybe there is hope.
