[Kansas city business] ~ The American Wind Energy Association in a report released Thursday said that in 2012 only two other states — Texas and California — built more wind generation. Kansas more than doubled its production capacity during the year.
Apparently not everyone in Kansas thinks wind is a good thing.
The state’s “Committee on Energy and Environment” is proposing a law that
would prevent any state funds from being "used, either directly or indirectly, to promote, support, mandate, require, order, incentivize, advocate, plan for, participate in or implement sustainable development." [ Gristmill]
