I’m so sick of seeing the self-serving, frequent, prime-time ads on television from B.P., or British Petroleum. They extol their heroic efforts in the relief and restoration in the Gulf of Mexico. Does anyone remember that the hurricane itself wasn’t the only problem? A huge part was the oil spill. The federal government determined the damage was directly related to the faulty and negligent operations of B.P. and ordered cleanup and restitution. Does anyone believe that B.P. would have lifted a finger if it had not been under direct federal rule?
