LITCHFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The industrial wind turbine ban in the Town of Litchfield will stand after a recent appeal by leaseholders has been withdrawn, according to a news release from the town's attorney.
In December, the State Supreme Court in Herkimer County dismissed a lawsuit filed against the Town of Litchfield which went into specific details about the size of the turbines that would and would not be allowed.
