Wind energy manufacture to end production

Nordex to end production in Jonesboro Arkansas


More bad news in the alternative energy field, an announcement from German manufacturer Nordex of the end of U.S. production — wind turbine production in Jonesboro. A facility will remain in place in Jonesboro for service, parts and repair. The release says about 40 workers will be affected. Continue... [Arkansas Blog]

Nordex opened the plant with great fanfare and state assistance in 2010.

Foreign wind was never serious about US manufacture beyond the subsidized loans they were given. The spend the money, shut the plants down, default on the loan and then flee to the European Union. You folks become the suckers.
