CPS Energy, San Antonio’s city-owned utility, has no immediate plans to buy power from the federal government’s largest wind farm, now under development in the Texas Panhandle.
Siemens Government Technologies Inc. this week broke ground on the farm near Amarillo for the National Nuclear Security Administration. The operation will generate 47 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
