It will address potential encroachment issues with Fort Drum, such as the siting of energy projects, airspace and land restrictions, and noise concerns. Strangely enough, neither DANC or JCC has any information on the meeting on their websites. A call to DANC asking about particulars provided no insight, since the call taker had no knowledge of the planned meeting. A call to the WDT yielded the name of the reporter (Ted Booker) author of the article which was published without a by-line. I'm still waiting for a call back from either party. With the revived plans by Iberdrola for a gigantic wind farm in Jefferson County, the impact on the future of Fort Drum of the project should at least be addressed.
