We have so many wonderful memories of our vacations in the Thousand Islands area. We have enjoyed swimming and walks in the charming historical towns in the summer; and in the fall the amazing colours of the leaves. We would be sorry if those places were to change their ¿nature¿ with the addition of wind turbines.
To spoil this landscape with enormous wind turbines, aside from the noise, and othe problems would be a shame and great loss and would detract from local history and natural beauty of the area.
Imagine a movie like ¿On Golden Pond¿ with the Fonda family frolicking on the lake... with huge white wind turbines in the background?! What a shame!
