We shouldn’t really be surprised at the BP responses filed today. They are consistent with everything we have seen from them so far.It is a joke to refer to them as responses. They are completely non-responsive.
In fact, we know if they really tried to respond in good faith to the many comments from the agencies and municipalities that their answers would have been self-defeating and contrary to their own interests.
The section they filed just in response to the DPS comments took 91 pages – 91 pages of nothing.
Just as an exercise to highlight the point, I went through those 91 pages and extracted just their responses and copied just those into a Word doc. That got it down to 27 pages.
Look through these 27 pages to see how thoroughly BP punted on most of the DPS comments or dismissed them altogether.
Are they serious about this project – or this this just a “delay of game” maneuver? I think the latter.

This particular response about the maps used takes the cake.On a par with the age old list of excuses for late homework, such as my dog ate it.
"Facilities Map (see Appendix A) and will be used in the Application, where applicable. Pleasenote that the use of the US Topo map background will increase the file size of the maps
significantly, potentially exceeding the thresholds outlined in the Guidelines for Filing Documents with the Secretary"
We are to believe the outdated maps were submitted to accomodate the size of the document file?
If Chandler eliminated all the bullshit in his documents, there would be plenty of room in the documents for adequate maps.
If Chandler eliminated all the bullshit he would be teaming up with Marion Trieste selling timeshares in the Caribbean on a beach that used to be a turtle sanctuary.
The people of the Thousand Islands have have enough of Chandler, Trieste, Briot and Taylor. Please go home. Well.... Justin is already home which really pisses us off.
